Current Open Positions:

N-Com, a telecommunications engineering consulting firm in Lubbock, Texas, requires experienced individuals to design and implement large scale IP networks. Experience as a network engineer for an ISP, telephone company or cable TV provider (or as a consultant to those providers) desired. Requires 7-10 years experience designing and/or implementing large scale IP networks. Expertise in Layer 1, 2 and 3 required. Job duties include design and implementation of basic Internet services for providers (DSL, wireless, fiber to the home, cable modem, etc) as well as IP TV and VoIP. Requires good oral and written communication, ability to work as part of a team, excellent problem solving skills, network analysis and documentation, ability to work on multiple projects.
